How it all started...
Fairview started back in the 1950's (as Budlong Christian Church) by a group of Christ followers who loved being together and seeing Jesus made famous in the Carthage community. We have seen great growth since that time. 3 Campuses later, and a lot of change, Fairview continues to serve our community in order to see God's Kingdom grow!

We strive to be a community of Christ followers dedicated to transforming the world with God's love for God's glory. To do this, we want to start in our own community and encourage others to share the transforming power of the gospel as they live godly lives in their own places of influence.
Where we are headed...
Our purpose has always been the same, we simply want others to know, love, and follow Jesus with all of their heart, soul, and mind! We use 3 words around here that help us capture what God is calling us to do: Connect, Engage, Declare.
CONNECT - We want every person to Connect to God through a relationship with Jesus, an indwelling of His Spirit, and a devotion to His Word, prayer, and the Body of Christ.
ENGAGE - We want every person to Engage in the Body of Christ by being committed to a smaller group of believers that will challenge them in ways that will help them grow and mature in their relationship with Christ each week. Our Engagement within the Body should result in a willingness to share our God-given time, talents, and treasures with the overall purpose of reaching others with the gospel.
DECLARE - We believe that when a person is connecting with God and engaging with His Church, their natural reaction is to Declare the Good News of Jesus Christ with unbelievers around them.
